Not the Grammys, it's called a Grammy Nomination Countdown Concert or something like that, it's only an hour long I think and it's on CBS.

And the academy is wondering why ratings are dropping? HELLO, get some f-ing deceit nominees. My god, I'm looking at the list, its by far the worst nominees I have ever seen. I mean Coldplay and John are the only ones I'm rooting for that are big on the list. Eddie Vedder, and Josh Groban are also nominated along with Death Cab For Cutie and Jason Mraz which are alright with me but wow, 99.99 percent of the people nominated either I do not like or I've never heard. Who the hell is M.I.A, and Adele? I have never heard of those people. Lady Antebellum? Jazmine Sullivan? New Artist....what?

I honestly cannot tell you anything about American Music anymore, nor could I tell you most of who the singers are. I don't listen to general radio anymore and I'm so turned off by mainstream music in this country. Its so bad its ridiculous, and most of the people on that list, do not have good music only that there popular. They should just change the name of the awards to just trashy popular music awards.

Oh, and watching John's performance kinda freaked me out, he's change so much, its just weird watching him now. But he did good.

i do agree partially steph, most of the nominees are people i never heard of or dont care about.

but at least john's in there so we have someone to root for :lol:

ps, MIA's nomination is ridiculious. now dont get me wrong, i love the song they are nominated for.. but okay.. "paper planes" came out 3 years ago and was an underground song until the movie Pineapple Express featured the song in their previews and the song blew up overnight. but it's not a grammy-worthy song. i mean, the whole premise of the song is about weed and shooting people for their money!!!! wtf academy?! :blink:
