Now, some BBCode will change, such as instead of align=center you just put center in the brackets. We also have a test site we are working on and hall make more announcements regarding server differences as they are discovered.

Will there be any changes to things such as Lands and IC positions during this? Such as, will Lands be changed due to the War and Plague, and we have to wait for the Zetaboard to see them? And wil there be a new system of IC positions or will we stick to what we have now?

Well, Guilds will be taken down as the forums aren't used anymore. Instead if someone makes another guild, you will be able to join its own group, same goes for followers. They will just request it of their chosen deity/guardian and the deity/guardian just has to press an accept button and then there's their own follower group. Hang on, I'll get a screen shot from our test site.

You can view all joinable groups by going to the joinable groups section.

You send a join request to the leader of the group by going to join group.

The group leader can see pending requests.

They approve or deny it.

You get a PM saying you're approved.

I've noticed that some people may be a little confused about all this...Switching? To Zetasomething? Oh dear, what'll this mean for Avalon!


Well, ZetaBoards is InvisionFree 2, it's like an upgrade for what we have now. Regardless of whether we want to switch now or not, later on, all of InvisionFree's boards will be switched to ZetaBoards. ZetaBoard software offers us a lot more features and benefits to help Avalon run as smoothly as possible. The possibilities are endless! Things will be faster, easier and more efficient!

So there's nothing to worry about. We just have to look forward to this switch. And why not help us out by suggesting ideas for new layouts? Colour schemes, backgrounds, etc! :D

I'm going to get smacked for this, but I was thinking.. what about less Red? I love Avalon's skin, but after a while, the Red is a bit overbearing for my eyes. But Like I said, I don't wanna get smacked, so I'll clam up.

It's ok, once we get converted you will have the opportunity to change to a variety of skins. There'll be a red one for those who prefer the current look, we're looking for the old blue one to convert, and there'll be a number of other options depending on personal preference.

Hell for people with multiple accounts you can even have a different skin for each account, making it easy to recognize who you are logged in as. ^_~

And yes, I suppose I should have said 'upgrade' instead, might've made it easier to understand for those who don't know what Zeta is. xD

Nope. None of the forums will be deleted and no one's accounts will be altered. Everything will just have a new format and the various functions of the site will work better.
